Aeration

I core aerated my nearly 3 year old hybrid bermuda lawn the other day. Since then, we have received over 4″ of rain from tropical storm Cindy. Is all of my hard work in vain now if some of the holes have filled in? Was a day sufficient enough to allow air to flow into the holes? Just looking for a few ideas. The soil is mosltly red clay here NW of Atlanta in Paulding County. Thanks.

It takes much more than one aeration to help clay. But it takes much more than one rain event to undo the aeration you completed. Keep up the good work……..
Aeration in any for is great.
