I have called for a couple of lawn sprinkler system estimates. Anything I should ask or upgrades I should ask for? Thanks.

If you live in a cold area that frosts below the level of the irrigation pipes I would make sure that you get a self draining system. That will make your winterization of the system easier.
Also, I like to have a moisture sensor so that I’m not watering when there is plenty of water already in the soil.
