new lawn

I have just completed a new home and need a lawn! I will be renting the property out in June and would like to have an established lawn ASAP. Therefore I am considering strongly, Sod. I have been reading this Forum and other articles about preparing the area properly first. My big question is where do I get the sod from and what questions should I be asking? Also what pricing should I expect for a good to very good product to grow in New England here on Cape Cod?

Hit the yellow pages under ‘sod’…..or see your local garden center which usually has order forms available- and information on grass types-installation etc. After you have found out who the local sod growers are- check out their web sites….which usually contain all the info you will ever need!
