What kind of grass seed would be best for seeding a horse pasture in miami florida. It is about 2 acres. Thanks

The best grass for Horses is Coastal Bermuda (Cynodon dactylon). I am in the Sandhills area of North Carolina near Pinehurst, N.C. and we are known for golf courses and horse farms. Coastal Bermuda is the most widely grown and bought most for horses and cows.

You can seed NK 37 Giant Bermuda , which will be as close as you will get to costal bermuda.

we have used a mix of nk37 and common bermuda @ 60 % common and 40% giant bermuda at a 35# to the acre rate. works just fine.
