New to Lawns – Need some Help

Need some help as I have some brown patches/dead grass oblong/circular shaped areas. Not sure if it is some sort of fungi/bugs or the two dogs that I have. Have been told to water it more frequently as I have the dogs. Cannot elaborate on what type of grass it is – Been told it is Rustic grass – told you a complete novice!! Don’t know much else as I bought the house and lawn came with it. I live in sunny Portugal. Thanks for your help.
