How to kill St. Augustine in Centipede

I built in a new subdivision and layed centipede sod.My neighbors on both sides built after me and put down St. Augustine. There St. Augustine is taking over my cenipede. I will put down a conrete curb down the property line once I figure out a way to kill the St. Augustine on my property. I normaly don’t like chemical solutions, but I am way past getting on my hands and knees to pull this mess up. My centipede is lush and green, the St. Augustine is yellow and looks horrible. Can someone help me?Thanks, Peter
