Golf Club Grass

My lawn currently has a mixture of grass types. I’d like to replace the current lawn with the type of grass that is used on the greens at golf courses. Can you suggest a grass seed for this application? What is the best plan of attack to accomplish this task.
Thank you.

Newbie, it depends on your climate. In Florida and most of the southeastern U.S., Tifdwarf bermudagrass and related varieties of such as TifEagle bermudagrass are used on golf course greens. Further north in the United States, bentgrasses are commonly used in golf courses.
