circles on my new lawn

I planted a new back yard lawn last fall. We’ve had record snowfall this winter. Now that the snow is gone, I have hundreds of perfect circles of diseased grass in my backyard. Some are 6 inches in diameter, some are 12 inches. I used high quality Lesco grass seeds that was a mixture for my region in Massachusetts. What is this and how do I get rid of it. I have photos, but don’t know how to post them on here.

Sounds like snow mold, either gray snow mold (caused by Typhula) or pink snow mold (caused by Microdochium). You can email the photos to me ed****@tu*******.com and make sure to indicate whether or not you want to give permission to have them posted on this web site.
