Light Green linear patches/sprinkles in SA Turf

In the last few weeks, I’ve noticed that I’ve got some linear patches(streak-like, between 12-36″ wide and 3-12ft long) and “sprinkles” ofmuch lighter than normal turf. Grass is growing at full rate in spiteof color. Sprinkles are beneath trees, with a large patch near afence in full sun, although a smaller patch is at least 20ft fromfench line. Texas (austin) soil.

Tried applying fertilzer first, and I can see that it increased growth(including the light green sections) but didn’t improve the color.Applied ironite about a few days ago with no change so far. (How longdoes iron take?)

So far, it’s still growing at full rate, but I’m worried. Doesn’tlook like insect or fungus damage to me, but the fertilizer didn’t fixit. In case of sprinkles, water problems are unlikely since normalareas surround them. Patch on fence line could be from neighbor, butwhat about distant patch with same problem?
