I have a winter grass taking over my centipede lawn. It is now dead and brown my lawn looks awful. How do I kill this stuff without killing my centipede grass?

You have to use a weed preventer in the fall-before the cool season weeds germinate. ‘Vigoro’ makes a product- safe for your type of grass.

thanks for the info…my neighbors are both sides have made remarks because it’s creeping their way. I’ll look for this stuff at the home centers.

If you could post a photo of the invasion, I would tell you what herbicide to use and when. If it is a winter weed, atrazine will get most of them.
