I recently (in may) laid down new sod on my property. The heavy rain in June really hurt my grass but now after almost 6 weeks it has come back...thankfully!!! This weekend i have a party @ my house in my backyard, with almost 100 adults. Is there anythign I should do to the lawn prior to the party or after the party? Should I water before the party, the day before, put down fertalizer after? please help!!! IP: Logged |

The soil should be moist but not soggy.....which usually means watering 24 hours before the event kicks off. After the event, fertilize at normal rate, and water the heck out of it. IP: Logged |

since the sod is fairly new, and the weather is hot, would you recommended a start fertilizer? I would put it down @ night and water IP: Logged |
