Hoping someone can help me: It seems like my St. Augustine is detaching from the the groung. It's only in certain areas. Could I have damaged the roots by raking? I have fertilized, water only two times a week and threw top soil. I haven't seen any improvement. Any ideas?

Check for lawn grubs. If you find more than 4 or 5 per square foot of lawn you have to treat them.
Checking consists of removing turf and screening the soil below for C shaped Grubs.
