My lawn was severely damaged by chinch bugs and now I need to replace it all with new sod. I was wondering if it was necessary for me to remove the old sod because this is extremely expensive. Can I just kill the old grass and till it then place the new sod on top. IP: Logged |

If you kill the old and till it under (or severely scrape the surface) then you should be okay. Some say you can just put it down atop the old but I don't like that approach. Best of luck to you. IP: Logged |
