I have read contradicting opinions about mowers , even that most push reel mowers are not adequate for Bermudas, because it is too dense. Also I read that reel mowers are the best .I read about em1 power but cordless reel but non available now.I have small yard less then 3000 , but Would like to keep it short , mowing 1 time a week , but physically impaired ..

Reel mowers are the best for all turfgrass(warm and cool season). You need a 7 blade reel for the bentgrasses. I have a manual 7 blade that cuts bermuda beautifually. I mow a 4000 SQ foot area with it. check out Mclane or great states reel mowers. be sure its a 7 blade reel.

Or, maybe even better, 10 knives as opposed to 7. I have a McLean with 10 and it does a better job on my 419 than my old 7 did. Particularly when mowing low – 3-5/16ths.

Not sure you can have a nice lawn and cut only once a week. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, just depends on what’s acceptable to you.
