I have tall fescue in the back, which burns up every summer and bermuda in the front. Will Zoysia do well in Amarillo? Fast or slow growth? Thanks, Mac

There are several different types of Zoysia that should work for your application. Zoysia is a little slower than bermuda but you will not have to replace it every year as with the fescue. Most Zoysia exhibit excellent drought and heat tolerance as well as shade tolerance. If you need any other help feel free to email me at research@turfgrassamerica.com.

Anyone know of any problems with letting livestock eat zoyzia grass? Specifically horses would have access to this grass.
