We’ve laid this grass twice now and both times it has yellowed and died immediately. Been laying grass in the San Antonio area for over 30 years and am completely stumped here. The site is actually on Lake McQueeney and is watered from the Lake. The “look” of the dying grass is almost like it is over watered, but we made certain that was not the case the second time around. We’ve also considered that there could be some contaminant in the lake water, but all lake front houses in the area pump lake water for the yard and St. Augustine is very common.

Any thoughts, recommendations or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
