My bermuda grass is suffering from patches of light green that eventually seem to kill off or severely thin the grass. The affected blades of grass are a shade or two lighter than the healthy areas. There are no decernable spots. I’ve guessed at fusarium blight but I don’t really have the ring symptom that seem to point at that. And the progression is more irregular and patchy instead of clear borders between health and affected areas. Any ideas?

Need a picture to properly ID. Sounds like a sedge. Take a picture, post it, also take a sample to your county extension office.
