I don’t understand what’s going on here. I just replaced a section of my grass (25 sod squares) that was totally destroyed by this too. I wanna say it’s root rot. I need to get it under control because it’s on the prowl for the rest of my yard. The sections turn yellow, the grass thins out and hardly grows at all then dies completely. Any help is really appreciated – Do I need to put down a fungicide like Heritage, Rubigan and, or BannerMaxx ? Where do I get these ?

If you want an organic solution to fungus with no guesswork, use ordinary corn meal at 20 pounds per 1,000 square feet. If the problem was due to a fungus, it will green up again starting in 3 weeks. If it does not green up, then you have an insect problem.
