I just planted new sod in my front yard and approx. 2 weeks ago and now the edges of the sod are turning brown as well as the tips of the grass. Please help

Need a little more information.
1. Type of turfgrass2. Location3. Soil preparation before laying sod4. Was sod rolled?(to force contact with soil)5. Fertilize after sodding?6. Water schedule for last couple of weeks
