I’m in Tampa, FL and have random yellowing to dead brown spots in my Bahia lawn. They are odd, circular shaped small patches. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sometimes Bahia can “need” Iron to correct yellowing (sometimes called “chlorosis”). There may be other factors as well. You may want to try an application of iron. It would be relatively inexpensive and if used properly, won’t hurt the grass (just don’t get it on the house or driveway!). If that doesn’t help, you may want to consider taking a soil sample to the UofF extension service.

Some other causes could be nematodes, insect infestation, or fungus.

Good luck.
