pickett_kris@yahoo.com – posted 10 May 2005 23:16Ahhhh…The Lawn guy fertilized my lawn with Bonus S in the first part of April. It has killed the Winter Rye grass, under that was newly sodded Bermuda grass( sodded around Dec 04) Is there Hope for the Bermuda ? Should I do anything at this point ? I live in the Dallas Texas Area

Thanks

pickett_kris@yahoo.com – posted 12 May 2005 11:58Yes, it was a mistake on his part.

Bob Harry – posted 07 June 2005 21:26If I use Bonus S to feed my St. Augustine, will it kill the remaining rye? This is my first year using winter rye; I thought it would die back in the spring or get choked out by the St. Augustine but it’s still hanging on, causing my grass to shoot up rather than spread. I live in Dallas as well.

My winter rye is hanging on longer than i expected..Everyone on my block have beautiful green yards while my yard has shades of brown..Not sure I’ll do this again next year..I also live in the Dallas area
