I need some advice. I live around Atlanta and my front yard is bermuda that was newly sodded in May along with the back and side yards. The back and side look great. They have both grown in nice and thick. But the front is not growing very well. The house is on top of a hill so the front is on an incline. The growth is very slow and there is a lot of light colored, dried thatch type material throughout. There’s also a lot of little tiny Y shaped growths that are always present. I have fertilized twice this summer (maybe it’s burnt from that?) but I did the same to the other yards. We’ve gotten lots of rain so I don’t think it’s lack of water. I’m going to top dress it this weekend with a top soil and sand mixture to see if that helps since there are some uneven areas anyway. If anyone has any advice I would sure appreciate it. Thanks.

i had the same problem with my grass for around a year. i live north of the atlanta region in forsyth. Please list what u do to your lawn

1. mowing height2. how many times u water 3. is there alot of shade?4. how many times do u mow5. did u ever fertilize your lawn?6. how much thatch is there under the grass (built up dead clippings that kill your grass)

if your looking for a landscape company to come and cut your grass once a week i’d be happy to come, i charge around $120-$200 a month for yards up to around 1/4 – 1 acre
