I dug up my oak trees that came with the house. I want to plant Palm trees of diffrent types. How do the do with st aug grass? Anything I should look out for and what are good palm trees and ones to look out for with this grass or in general? If anyone has some?

Thanks for all your help everyone.
I desided to ditch the palms and go with a large shade tree, looking for one that does well with grass like: Thornless Honeylocust – Gleditsia triacanthos inermis
Any others that do well? No nuts or fruit!

Palms do fine with any kind of grass. I have 9 different palms in my front yard with St. Augustine. Palms are closely related to grass and corn, and aren’t really considered trees at all.

I desided to go with
Hybrid Poplar – Populus deltoides x Populus nigra from arbor day.http://www.arborday.org/trees/Itree.cfm?ID=31&SOIL=&SUN=&ZONE=9&TYPE=
$30.00 vs $1,000 on palms
