I’ve never heard of that one, and you don’t say what your requirement is for (how wide cutting reel, how big your lawn)

But if you are a home-owner, looking for a nice solid reel mower at a good price, then check to see if you can get an Aussie brand called “Rover” in your area.

We sell quite a lot of their rotaries – which are aimed at “home-owner market” but small contractors are buying them too, and we hardly ever see them back in our workshops – “bullet-proof!” And I was talking to a Brit distributor at Saltex last Summer who sells their reel-mowers (about 18″ cut, I think) and has the same high regard for them.

If you are doing “serious” size areas, then start to think about the Ransomes Marquis (4 hp, 20″), Matador (5.5 hp 28″) or even the Mastiff (9 hp, 36″). They may be branded differently in US – possibly as “Jacobsen” machines.

A lot of Mastiffs used on soccer fields, and they stand up to 10 years or more of the sort of abuse that a lot of local (relatively un-skilled)operators put them through!

I cut 12,000 sq ft with a 25″ Trimmer for years.

Trimmer reel mowers are the best for homeowner applications IMO.
