I just had my house built and and was wondering what grass to go with since I am in Georgia close to Savannah. I then was apprached by a guy who is trying to get a yard started in the sub division so he offered to sell my rolls of Burmuda grss from his sod farm at $52 a roll and labor and all was free. I am on 3/4 Acre and didnt get it all with 38 rolls. but was not impressed at how it was laid out. I thought it had to many gaps and not even at all so when I mowed it really cut the high stuff to dirt but you could still see the roots and set in will this stuff come back in? The good thing about this is we have had a week long rain here so everything is very soaked. What kind of fertilizer could I put down to help it out or should I just give it its time? It has been on the ground since the 19th of Aug. I have contacted the guy to bring 15 more rolls to finish up the yard I cant handle the mud. Any help would be great.

ThanksJimmy

The good thing about bermuda, it will creep quickly. The gap areas I would put sand down to level the yard. At this time of the year I would recommend a 1-2-3 ratio of fertilizer. Meaning something like 10-15-20 or something in that nature.
