I live in northeastern Louisiana, near Monroe. Last year we bought a house that has zoyzia in the front lawn. I am not sure what variety it is. Most of the turf is well established, but there are some areas of weedy grass coming in some places. Most of it is either barnyardgrass or crabgrass, but there is some dallisgrass as well. I sprayed MSMA (I have a pesticide license) on part of the lawn, which burned the zoyzia somewhat. It killed some of the weedy grass, but a lot of it is coming back. The zoyzia was ugly for a while, but some ammonium nitrate and a good watering brought it back better than ever. My question is, what is the best herbicide to use on zoyzia to kill out the weedy grass now that is has emerged. Thanks in advance,Keith

Did you ever get your answer for this question. If you did, I want to know what you use to kill the Dallisgrass? I seeded a yard with fescue and Dallisgrass is taking over. I know that MSMA will kill it, but also it can damage or kill fescue. Let me know something.
