We planted two pallets of tifdwarf two weeks ago, and despite judicious weeding we’re starting to fall behind. Roots are down, when can I put out a post emergent herbicide, and which one should I use? Thanks!

cy, it depends on what kinds of weeds you have, broadleaf or grassy? Young goosegrass plants can be treated with Illoxan, which can be used on golf greens.

Hi Phil, I was using the forum so I didn’t have to keep pestering you. The weeds we have are almost all broadleaf, can I use a 2,4-d and mcpp mix like weed-b-gon? I was going to try that tonight on a corner and wait a day or two to see if it did any damage. Thanks, Chris Y
