What causes Saint Augustine grass to turn yellow?

From my experience anything and everything will make St Augustine turn yellow. But what do I know! Check out the University of Florida’s explanation of the good, the bad and the ugly of St Augustine.

Four most common causes I have encountered are: over watering (wash out nutrients), lack of fertilizer, insects, and lastly fungus.

Organic lawn care will take care of all the problems.

QWERTY, are you a computer “green” bot or something? lol

Just wondering, because in most of your replies you promote organic solutions and techniques. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing bad about that. I’m glad you take your time to help others.
