How can I get ridd of Seashore Paspalum in my Bermudagrass???

The Seashore Paspalum(Paspalum vaginatum) is a very good grass. Why do you want to get rid of it? It is salt tollerant, can be irrigated with salt or effluent water. It is heat tollerant. If you are near the coast it is the better grass.Other than resodding there is not much other way. It will take over the bermuda.

Thank you for your answer.I know and like Paspalum Vaginatum and I also think it’s the future with watering problems but this has happened in a golf course and they want to get rid of it, they only want to maintain the Bermudagrass and as I also think it is a quite impossible thing to do, I asked to see if somebody knew about a product that could help.

asulox is phytotoxic to seashore paspalum, and is labeled for use on 419 at least, possibly other bermuda varities but im not sure. now help me out and tell me how to get bermuda out of my seashore paspalum because im starting to get some invading my backyard.

Prograss or simply salt water if your at sea side can help you getting rid of Paspalum

Some herbicides that are injurious to paspalum but relatively safe on bermuda include, asulox(if you can get it), MSMA, Trimec Classic, Image, Illoxan, & Sencor. You can use Confront + MSMA(3 applications maybe needed). Good luck not an easy task.
