Moles are everywhere, anyone have a successful method to get rid of them?

traps. that’s it. anything else is a old farmers tale. however, anything you can do to irritate them may send them running elsewhere. forget the exlax, castor oil, smoke bombs, etc. they may have an effect but not a scientfic result.

We have a 6 year old home and have tried to get rid of moles every year but nothing works! We have sandy soil and the grass won’t grow because of the moles also!We have limed it and have seeded it every year. We need help! Any suggestions?

When the terrior get tired get some gel bait. Ive caught moles in traps but its pure luck. The gel bait works the best that ive seen its just expensive.

Two or three items seem to work well for me.1. Eliminate or reduce the food source. Chances are you have Grubs. Treating for grubs will reduce their food source and discourage them from staying too long. Hopefully going to your nieghbors.
2. Plant a castor plant. Its an annual plant that grows to about 6-8 ft and has large leaves. The “fruit” is quite poisionous, actually the source for Ricin.Moles will not hang out around this plant.
3. Get two shovels, a six pack and a pitch fork. stomp down the trails sit back and wait, quietly, for the turf to rise up.(Could take an hour or two.) When you see the trail coming up: shovel the end of the trail behind the critter, in front of the critter and pitch fork the trail in between. Digging up the trail as you go to ensure you have him. We use this method alot on the course and with the six pack the guys don’t mind the wait as much. OFF THE CLOCK OF COURSE!
