I have light green areas which are taking over areas of my fescue lawn. It’s worse in shady and lush areas. The light green areas start as a small round-ish area which keep growinig until they meet another light green area. The light green areas have a a bit of a crab grass look to them and they are more coarse and taller than the fescue. Any ideas? Weed and Feed had not affect on the area, which makes me believe it’s a type of grass. thank you

weedy, what kind of fescue do you have? Tall fescue? Chewings? Red?

This light green weed, could it be annual bluegrass? Is it really a creeper with runners like crabgrass, or does it emerge from tiny bunches attached to the ground?

Can you scan it and send an image to:editor@turfgrass.com

Thanks, Phil
