I have noticed that there are large areas of my St Augustine that appear to be “floating” on the soil. I live in the Houston area and the rest of grass is well established. In these floating areas the grass looks green and seems to have roots … just not into the soil! Help!! Please!

Blondie – – did you ever get an answer to this? Mine has started growing long chutes above my normal turf – – I’m interested to see if you ever found out why your grass isn’t “rooting”
