I was very disappointed with the service I received from them. My yard improved only slightly and that was in the front yard (no improvement in the back yard) and this was after 10 months! I talked with their yard technician 3 times and he wasn’t much help (I had brown patch and he wan’t able to recognize it, though 3 other companies were). Finally after I cancelled my service, one of their managers called up and stated that he would like to come by and look at the yard and talk with me about it … he was a no show. I am in Austin Tx and this may have been an isolated incident, but I would be wary of their residential service. I’m doing it myself now and it looks much better. Good luck!

Chemlawn is a scam in my experience. I have lived in eight different states and my experience is the same everywhere. It is not just the $30 per month. They have special treatments that they pressure you to buy as well. You will be guaranteed to have grubs, whether or not you actually have them. My advise is to stay as far away from them as possible. Do not just take my word for it. Ask people you work with if they have experience with this service. I expect the negative comments to greatly exceed any positives.

In my opinion they are a scam. They don’t guarantee results unless you agree to thier recommendations for additional service ( which they always recommend = more revenue for them). I’ve found following the Scott’s program of fertilization , ironite and weekly watering cycles , you’ve have a great lawn for less money. My neighbors pay a fee every month for this service and my yard looks just as good for much less… $30 a month x 12 = $360? save your money. enjoy !
