How much grass can I expect to see from each new blade? Am I looking at a 1-inch square of grass, 2-inches, 4-inches, more, less…?
I planted a new lawn, Fescue Kentucky 31, and its just starting to come in. I see single blades of grass popping up all over but each a few inches apart from the next. I am concerned that the lawn wont fill in completely.
How much grass should I expect from each new blade? How quickly will it fill in? Should I add more seed?

one. that’s it. chances are you’ll start to fill in, though. k-31 is a really wide bladed “field” grass so it’ll thicken up considerably. just wait.
