I’ve just moved to Northern Alabama from California and would like to know why people opt for Bermuda and brown lawns in the winter if others, like fescue, can be used here also and remain green year-round?
Any info is appreciated.

i would recommend fescue for the area-very familiar with the region-you’ll need to turn on the watering hose for the summers however. just curious, why in the world would you move from california to alabama!!!
