My St. Augustine grass is rapidly (in the past week) going yellow, starting at the tips, and working down the blade. This problem is on the whole yard, especially the direct sun areas. It is a relatively new yard, (new house) just sodded last fall. I have heard bad things about the topsoil that the new home builders (Austin area) put down before they lay the sod. Could that be the problem? Does it need nutrients? Is it just getting sunburned? Is it because we have gotten a lot of rain lately? I want to try to save my lawn! Thanks.

soil test it, it could be an iron problem.
