I purchased zoysia plugs from zoysia farms several yrs ago (3?). plugger was junk- I broke it in about 5 minutes-.I ordered plugs in Feb. , got them in May, brown & ded lookin.May is too late to plant here. Hot & dry. Need to plant in Feb. -March.Zoysiafarms is in Maryland-long cold winters. I’m sure their crop isn’t even planted by the time calif.-tx-az-etc. need to plant. Also, their sod is pretty darned expensive- about $30.00 a sq. ft ! I don’t care if it is 144 1 sq. inch plugs- what a scam.
