Hi,how far apart can I plant the st agustine plugs for amedium to fast coverage, say in 30 days.And can i let the dog in the yard with the plugs in the ground?

agreed. you will get hardly any outward stolon growth from st augustine in 30 days – just the upward shoot growth. sod it.
