How do I ERADICATE NUT GRASS in Floratam lawn? I tried Scotts Bonus S in September and it killed everything, including the Floratam.

Bonus S has atrazine as the active herbicide ingredient, and it won't touch nutsedges (or "nutgrass," though they are not grasses).

Three herbicides are effective against sedges and can be used in St. Augustinegrass: Basagran (also Lescogran, both contain bentazon), Manage (contains halosulfuron), and Image (contains Imazaquin). Basagran is mainly effective against annual bunch sedges, Image is mainly effective against purple nutsedge, and Manage has the broadest spectrum against several sedges.

If these products, Image is most likely to injure St. Augustinegrass, but all should be used with care. Also, Image is most likely to be available commercially in retail outlets.
