I am trying to start a new lawn. Unfortunately, I have a problem…Weeds three feet thick. Would it be better to weed wack them before or after applying weed killer?

After. Need to get herbicide on as much (weed) surface as you can. Don’t “wack ’em” until the herbicide has done it’s thing; i.e., a week or so.
