what is the best type of grass to plant in a field that has just been preped. To be planted in September. Currently I need a turf to help with erosion. And then maybe reseed a different grass in the spring? Whats the best choices???

Winter rye is a good choice for temporary ocverage. Germinates quickly and it is economical
