Should I fertilize my 2 yr old El-Toro lawn after I core areate & top dress w/sand? If so what kind of fert. and how much?
What about chicken litter?

Chicken liter is unpredictable in it's nitrogen levels, as well as it's "hotness". Also, the liter can add a built up of salt. Put on in the winter for spring is OK, but would be concerned about the follow-up fertilizer applications creating to much nitrogen be applied. Low cost but unpredictable in an overall program for the turf.
