As warmer spring and summer weather returns, the annual rye should have produced seedheads and will shortly be squeezed out as the bermuda continues to resume active growth.

A selective herbicide may work, but as you mow the bermuda at lower heights, the annual rye should have trouble competing with bermuda and diminish naturally.

when the bermuda take over the winter rye, will the winter ye be gone forever or will it comes back next winter?

where do you live???

If you live in a warm climate, the winter rye will simply overheat and die during the summer, never to return.

Unless, of course, you overseed again with winter rye.
