Water
table below FX-10 St. Augustine grass. The water table
in South Florida, particularly Broward and Miami-Dade Counties,
averages 4.5 feet below the surfaces in urban areas. There
are pinnacles limestone separating solution holes, thus the
underground topography of the oolitic limestone is jagged and
probably serves to bring some water up to plant roots. |
